I was so sad when I heard about this. They are such a wonderful bird. Even though I've never seen one and doubt I ever will, the world is a better place with them in it, and the thought they might disappear is heartbreaking.
We've set something in motion that we do not know can be stopped but I just hope we don't succumb to fatalism and give up.
