Spain Floods

Just a year after witnessing its worst drought in recent history , Spain has now suffered its worst flooding, with at least 215 casualties. While flooding was expected, the vulnerability of expanding urban infrastructure coupled with record sea surface temperatures in the Mediterranean are believed to have exacerbated its impact.
