Nicely summed up. I heard it described as something like that they are offering simple solutions for complex problems but it's more than that. They are manufacturing/ pretending that there is a threat to the majority from a minority, and that's very effective. You don't have to get all of the majority on side, just the proportion of that majority who aren't doing well. Of course, the white Europeans and Americans who aren't doing well are not suffering because of immigrants but because of billionaires, Hindus who aren't doing well aren't suffering because of Muslims but billionaires and I'm sure that's the case for Muslims in Turkey etc, but the billionaires have the money to target vulnerable minorities. Sorry, rant over.
